Welcome to EVT3D

REV. 1 · 2026-05-03

#Welcome to EVT3D

EVT3D is a browser-based design tool for live events. You build a venue, populate it with props, lighting, and audience, then share an interactive walkthrough — all without leaving the tab.

This manual is the reference companion to the app. If you are looking for guided lessons, head to the Tutorials section instead.

#What you can do here

  • Design a stage or booth in 3D, using a curated library of stages, trusses, screens, and seating.
  • Place a venue from the venue catalog and design inside the actual room.
  • Share a walkthrough link with clients — they get an interactive viewer in any modern browser, no install.
  • Capture stills of the design in real time and run them through AI Enhance for client decks.

#How this manual is organized

  • Getting Started — welcome, and your first project.
  • The Editor — your Home page, the Library, materials and looks, the Camera Roll, visual polish.
  • Builders — the Stage, LED Wall, Screen and Audience builders, and venues.
  • AI & Live Video — AI Enhance and IMAG.
  • Reusable Content — uploading props, premodeled light fixtures, assemblies.
  • Sharing — Share Mode, share analytics, the VR viewer.
  • For Vendors — the Vendor Portal.

#A note on terminology

EVT3D borrows from theatre and event production rather than from CAD. You will see stage, truss, front-of-house, cue — not node, mesh, transform. Where a 3D term is unavoidable, the manual flags it.

#Found a problem?

The manual is versioned alongside the app. If something is wrong, out of date, or missing, mention it via the contact form on the home page — we read every message.
