#Share Mode
Send a link. Your client walks through the design in any browser — no install, no account.
Share Mode is how design conversations end. Generate a private link to any project, send it to your client, producer, or vendor, and they open it in any browser. They can orbit, switch cameras, sit in chairs, swap Looks, drop in their own image, and capture their favorite angles. They can't move, delete, or edit anything — the master design stays in your control. An anonymous engagement signal tells you the link is being reviewed, without ever attaching a name to a visit.
#What it does
#A private link you control
Click Share, then Create viewer link under By Link, and a private URL is generated and copied to your clipboard. The link goes nowhere public, isn't indexed by search engines, and can be paused or deleted any time. You can label each link ("Client A — round 2," "Internal review," "Lighting designer") — in the Viewer Links section of Save & Open, or by double-clicking it in the project's share-links menu on your Home page — so multiple links on the same project stay sorted.
#No install, no login, no app store
Recipients open the link in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Desktop, laptop, tablet, phone. They don't create an account, install software, or even refresh a plugin. The viewer loads, the scene loads, they're in.
#What viewers can do
- Orbit, pan, zoom. Standard 3D navigation; the room rotates around them.
- Switch cameras. Every named camera in your project (Wide, ISO, VIP Table, Drone) is a preset the viewer steps through with the arrows at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter Chair View. Long-press any chair to sit at seated eye-height in that exact seat, facing the stage. Walk the room as a guest.
- Swap Looks. Click the eye icon and pick between Day Rehearsal / Gala Night / Keynote, etc. — the room re-skins instantly.
- Capture favorites. Save a screenshot of any angle they like straight to their own device.
- Drop in their own image. Drag a JPG or PNG — a logo, a brand asset, or a reference graphic — onto select surfaces in the room — useful for "what if our sponsor lockup goes there instead?" without going back to you.
- Enter VR. On a Meta Quest, Vision Pro, or other WebXR headset, tap Enter VR and walk the room at full scale.
#What viewers cannot do
- Move, rotate, scale, or delete anything in the design.
- Edit materials, lights, or props.
- Open the project in the editor.
- See your other projects or your library.
#Welcome modal and privacy notice
The first time a visitor opens a share link, they see a one-time welcome screen — a short tour of the controls, a note that anonymous usage info is collected during the visit (with a Read more link to the details), and one button: OK, let's go. From then on, anonymous events flow to your project's Analytics. No cookies — the anonymous visitor ID lives in the visitor's own browser storage. No IP addresses saved with the analytics. No names.
#White-label branding
Set your team's logo, welcome message, and brand color in your account settings (Branding tab) so the share link reads as your deliverable, not a generic EVT3D page. The welcome modal shows your logo and message, and your logo can sit in the viewer's corner in place of the EVT3D mark.
#Pause or delete any link
If a link is getting unexpected traffic or you're done with a client engagement, pause it with the pause button beside it in the Share panel. Visitors to a paused link see a "That link isn’t available" screen and are sent on to EVT3D, but the link stays listed for you so you can resume it later. To remove a link for good, use Delete in Save & Open → Viewer Links.
#Multiple links per project
Generate as many links as your plan allows for one project. Each gets its own label and its own analytics so you can tell which audience is paying attention.
#How you use it
- Open the share panel. From any project, click Share. The Share panel opens.
- Create a link. Under By Link, click Create viewer link — or New link to add another one.
- Copy and send. The URL is in your clipboard (or click Copy Link). Paste it into an email, a Slack thread, a calendar invite, or a deck — or send it from the panel with By Email or Share to.
- Wait for the visit. The recipient opens it in any browser. The welcome modal greets them and walks them through the controls.
- Watch the engagement signal. Open the project's Analytics to see whether the link is getting opened, how long visitors are spending, and what features they're using.
- Iterate the design, leave the link. The link stays bound to the project, so as you keep editing, the same URL keeps showing the latest design. No "send a new link every time."
- Pause or delete when done. In the Share panel, pause the link if you might come back to it; delete it from Save & Open → Viewer Links if you won't.
#Why it matters
The traditional way a client reviews an event design is a flat PDF, a Zoom share where the designer drives the screen, or a render farm round-trip that takes days. None of those let the client feel the room. Share Mode does. The client opens the link at midnight from their phone, sits in row F, looks at the keynote slide, and either approves it or sends you back a note. The design conversation closes faster, with more context, with less of your time.
For the designer, Share Mode is also a deliverable. It's the artifact you hand to the client at the end of the engagement — interactive, sharable, durable. It replaces the PDF deck as the thing that exists at the end of design.
For the agency or production company, Share Mode is the leverage. Send a link in a follow-up. See whether it landed. Make your next pitch with the receipts that the last one was reviewed seven times.
