#Your Home Page
Where you land after signing in — every project, every render, one click from working.
When you sign into EVT3D, you arrive at your Home page — the header simply says Home. It's a calm landing surface that shows your projects, your captures, and your library — sized so you can resume in seconds. No editor weight, no scene loading, no marketing. Just your work.
#What it does
#Welcome and date
A simple header greets you by name ("Welcome back, Alex") and shows the day's date. If we only have your email on file, a small one-time Add your name prompt offers to add your name to your profile.
#Your projects
Every project you own appears as a tile with a thumbnail, project name, client name, and when it was last saved. Recent work sorts to the top, and the newest one wears a Last edited badge.
- Click a tile to open the project. That's the primary action. One click and you're back in the editor where you left off. Hover a tile and Open Project in… offers 3D (the scene) or 2D (the spec sheet).
- Search. The Search projects box filters the grid by project name, client name, slug, or venue. Useful once you have more than a dozen projects.
- Rename. Open the tile's ⋮ menu and pick Rename, or right-click the tile and pick Rename….
- Delete. Open the ⋮ menu and pick Delete (or right-click → Delete project), then confirm in the Delete project? dialog.
- Tile size slider. Slide left to shrink the tiles down to a dense list view (the size readout switches to List); slide right to blow them up for thumbnail-first browsing. Your setting persists per device.
#Project thumbnails
Each project tile shows a real image: EVT3D grabs a fresh view of your scene every time you save, so the tile keeps up with the design. Until there is one, you get a plain initial-letter chip. The image a pasted share link shows is a separate pick — you choose it from the Camera Roll (see Camera Roll).
#Gallery
Below your projects, the Gallery shows every render you've captured or AI-enhanced, across all your projects. A Mine / Team toggle switches between your own renders and everything your team has shared. Click any image to open it full-screen, see which project it came from, and download, rename, or delete it.
#Library access without opening a project
A Browse Library button opens your full Library — Venues, Props, Materials, Textures, Videos — from the Home page, without having to load a project first. Useful for tidying up uploads, editing materials, or checking what's available before you start a new design.
#Create new
A + New Project button sits in the Projects toolbar. Clicking it opens a new project in the editor with the Event Wizard, which asks what you're creating and drafts the room for you — or close it and start from an empty room.
#First-time user
If you haven't created a project yet, the page leads with a big Create your first project hero, a one-line intro, and a Browse Library button beside it. The hero button starts a new project with the Event Wizard.
#How you use it
- Sign in. You land on your Home page.
- Read the room. Your recent projects are at the top. If one of them is the one you want to keep working on, click it.
- Search if you've got a lot. Type into the Search projects box. The grid filters as you type.
- Rename or delete. Use the tile's ⋮ menu, or right-click the tile.
- Pick a share-link image. Open a capture in the lightbox and make it the project's HERO image — the picture a pasted share link shows. The tile itself refreshes every time you save.
- Browse your captures. Scroll down to the Gallery. Find a render you took six weeks ago without remembering which project it came from.
- Open the Library standalone. Click Browse Library to manage your props, materials, and uploads without entering a project.
- Start something new. Click + New Project and let the Event Wizard draft the room.
#Account and sign-out
Your name, email, and profile picture come from your sign-in. A sign-out option is in the account menu in the header.
#Privacy and access
- You see only what's yours. Your own projects, plus any you've checked out from your team's shelf.
- Teammates' work stays on the shelf. If you're on a team, projects shared with the team live on their own shelf tab on the Home page; nobody else's saved work shows up in your grid.
- Share-mode visitors don't see this page. Anyone visiting a share link goes straight to the viewer; the home page is only for signed-in EVT3D users.
#Why it matters
A design tool that drops you straight into a project breaks the natural rhythm of design work — sometimes you want to resume, sometimes you want to start fresh, sometimes you want to find a specific render from last quarter. The Home page is the calm overview that lets you choose, sized so the common path (resume the project I was working on) is one click.
