3D event rendering
Real-time 3D renderings of your event: the venue, stage, screens, lighting and seating, ready to show a client.
The finale is the hardest part of a show to describe in a meeting. EVT3D lets you place it in the design: cold sparks along the downstage edge, a confetti drop over the audience, a balloon drop on the last note, fireworks or a drone show over the lawn. Each one plays in real time in the same 3D scene as the stage and the lighting.
Special Effects is a design and approval tool. It shows what the moment will look like and where it lands. It is not a safety, licensing or flight plan.
Free plan, no credit card. Nothing to install.
Effects take light from the design. Fog standing in a blue wash reads blue, and confetti, streamers and balloons pick up the lights around them. Flame, cold sparks and fireworks give light back: with Lights the Room on, their glow lands on the drape, the walls and the venue, flickering in step with the effect.
They also know the room. Confetti thrown over a stage lands on the deck, pieces that reach a wall slide down it, a ceiling stops what is thrown too high, and a sloped venue floor is followed. Fireworks and drone shows play in the open sky.
Particles react to floors, stages, walls and ceilings. They do not yet react to props, drape or truss, so confetti passes through a truss line instead of catching on it.
Nothing here is engineering. Clearances, fallout zones, flame and pyrotechnic permits, venue and fire marshal approval, and drone flight planning and airspace belong to your licensed effects vendor and the authorities who sign off on them.
Yes. Place a Confetti Cannon or a Confetti Drop from Add Effect, set the throw or the drop height, the amount, the colors and paper or metallic, and it plays in the scene. Confetti lands on the floor and on stage decks.
Yes. Cold Sparks and the Flame Thrower are two of the nine effects, and both can light the room around them. They are a picture of the effect for design and approval. Heights, clearances and permits come from your effects vendor.
You can preview one. A Drone Show takes a number of drones, an altitude, a show width and up to four formations, such as a sphere, rings, a heart, a star or a word of up to 18 letters, and flies between them. It shows the idea to a client. It is not a flight plan.
No. Special Effects is a visual preview. It does not check clearances, fallout, fire code, licensing or airspace, and it does not stand in for a licensed pyrotechnician, the venue or the fire marshal.
They react to floors, stage decks, walls and ceilings: confetti lands on the deck and is stopped by a wall. They do not react to props, drape or truss yet.
